01
Getting started
What is RestAssured?
RestAssured helps you get ready for what matters, before it matters. You organize the documents, decisions and people that others would need if something happened to you.
It starts with the free Findability check. With Plan, the full assessment takes you through 12 areas of life, like documents, money, healthcare wishes and the people who’d step in. Remy, your guide, answers questions along the way.
What is the Findability check, and is it free?
It’s 8 questions about whether the people you trust could find what they’d need if something happened to you: who knows where to look, what they could access, and what would stay hidden. It ends with your Findability score and a first step.
It’s free, with no account and no credit card. Your answers stay in this browser until you create a free account, which saves your score. Start the Findability check.
What happens after I get my Findability score?
Your score comes with the practical read behind it: what’s already findable today, and the one move that would help most.
From there, you set the pace. Create a free account to keep your score. When you want the full picture, Plan adds the assessment across all 12 areas and a readiness report written from your answers.
Do I need an account or a credit card to start?
Not to start. The Findability check runs without an account and without a credit card.
A free account saves your score and adds your Life Profile, 2 documents in EasyVault, and Remy for questions. The full assessment, your readiness report and your action plan come with Plan and Protect.
02
How RestAssured works
What is the full readiness assessment?
The full assessment covers 12 areas of life, from findability and family coordination to legal, healthcare and funeral planning, in plain-language questions.
Your answers become your readiness report and your action plan. The full assessment comes with Plan and Protect.
How long does it take, and can I stop partway?
It’s longer than the Findability check, and you don’t have to finish in one sitting: every answer saves as you go.
Stop any time and pick up where you left off.
What is my readiness report?
When you finish your assessment, RestAssured writes your readiness report from your answers. It goes area by area, starting where you’re least ready, and says what’s in place, what’s still open, and what to do next.
It’s yours to read, print, or send as a summary by email to someone you choose.
What do the score bands mean?
Your score lands in one of four bands: Start here, Clear next steps, Ready to refine, and RestAssured Ready. Each one is a plain reading of how much would already be findable and settled if someone needed it today.
A band is a starting point, not a grade. Your report turns it into specific next steps.
03
Planning basics
Why plan ahead while everything is fine?
Because fine is when organizing is easy. The documents are where you left them, the passwords work, and nobody is making decisions under pressure.
Readiness is for any unexpected moment, not only the end of life: a hospital stay, a sudden trip, a week when someone else has to step in. A little time now can make that first hour much calmer.
I already have a will. Do I still need this?
A will is one important document, but being ready takes more than one document. Could the right people find it? Would they know who to call, what you’d want, and which accounts exist?
RestAssured doesn’t replace your will. It helps you make sure your will, and everything around it, is easy to find, up to date, and known to the people who’d need it.
Does RestAssured give legal or financial advice?
No. RestAssured helps you get organized and see where you stand. It doesn’t draft legal documents or give legal, tax or financial advice.
For wills, trusts and money decisions, talk with a qualified professional. Remy can help you get ready for that conversation.
I’ve done nothing yet. Where do I start?
Start with the Findability check. It’s free, needs no account, and takes 8 questions. It ends with one clear first step, so you’re never staring at a blank list.
When you’re ready for more, the full assessment (with Plan) takes you through all 12 areas, one question at a time.
04
Remy, your guide
Who is Remy?
Remy is RestAssured’s AI guide. Remy walks you through the questions, explains why each one matters in plain words, and writes your readiness report from your answers.
Remy reads your answers, score, report and action plan, so you don’t have to explain where you stand each time you ask.
Can I trust what Remy tells me?
Remy is a guide, not a professional. Remy explains terms, helps you organize, suggests a next step, and tells you when something needs a professional’s eyes.
Remy is an AI guide, not a lawyer, financial advisor or doctor. Check important decisions with a qualified professional.
What does Remy remember about me?
Remy reads what you’ve shared with RestAssured (your answers, score, report and action plan), so its guidance fits where you stand.
To write a reply, we send what Remy needs to OpenAI, which doesn’t use it to train its models and may keep it for up to 30 days to check for abuse. We keep a record of when you talked with Remy, not the words. Our Privacy Policy has the details.

Plans and pricing
What’s the difference between Check, Plan, and Protect?
Check is free: the Findability check and your score, your Life Profile, 2 documents in EasyVault, and Remy for questions.
Plan is $99 once, plus applicable tax: the full assessment across 12 areas, one readiness report written from your answers and kept as written, the first 3 moves of your Action Plan, your report saved in EasyVault, and your Trust Network.
Protect is $199 a year, plus applicable tax: change your answers any time, new reports as life changes, your whole Action Plan, and up to 20 documents in EasyVault. Check-ins with Remy are coming soon. Each tier includes everything in the one before it.
Is Plan really a one-time purchase?
Yes. Plan is $99, once, plus applicable tax. It isn’t a subscription and it doesn’t renew. Your report is written once from your answers and kept exactly as written; keeping it current is what Protect adds.
If you move to Protect within 30 days of buying Plan, your Plan counts toward your first year.
What does Protect cost?
Protect is $199 a year, plus applicable tax. It renews every year until you cancel, and we email you about 30 days before each renewal. You can cancel any time from Profile, and Protect stays on until the end of the year you paid for.
If you bought Plan in the last 30 days, it counts toward your first year: $100, plus applicable tax, then $199 a year.
Can I get a refund?
Plan: ask within 48 hours of buying it, before you answer any assessment question beyond the Findability check, and we’ll refund it in full. After that, Plan isn’t refundable.
Protect: ask within 14 days of buying it, or of a yearly renewal, for a refund. It’s a full refund, with one exception: if you didn’t already have Plan when you bought Protect and your readiness report has been written, we refund $100 of the $199, with its share of the tax, and you keep Plan, with your report. Either way, your documents stay yours to open and download. To stop the next renewal, cancel at least 48 hours before your renewal date. Write to support@restassured.life to ask.
Who processes my payment?
Stripe. Plan and Protect are sold through Stripe’s Link service, which takes the payment and adds any sales tax or VAT at checkout. Your card statement may show LINK.COM, and your receipt may come from Stripe or Link.
We never see or store your full card number.
06
Privacy and security
How is my information protected?
Your information is encrypted in transit and at rest, and we never sell it. The companies that run RestAssured for us (hosting, document storage, email, payments, and the AI that writes Remy’s replies) receive what they need for that, and so does our analytics provider if you allow analytics cookies. Our Privacy Policy lists them.
You can download a copy of your data or delete your account from Profile at any time.
Who can see what I put in?
No one else, by default. There are no public profiles, and the people in your Trust Network can’t open anything.
To share, you send it yourself, like emailing a summary of your report to someone you trust. The companies that run RestAssured for us receive only what they need for that work, and our Privacy Policy lists them.
Can I delete everything?
Yes. Delete your account from Profile, under Account & security. First we download a copy of your data for you. Your vault files aren’t in it, so download those from EasyVault first. Then we delete your account and everything in it straight away. This can’t be undone.
Deleting your account also ends any Protect subscription. It isn’t refunded automatically; if you paid in the last 14 days, write to support@restassured.life before you delete.
If your vault still holds documents, our team closes your account for you. We keep payment records for 7 years, as the law requires. If anything gets stuck, write to support@restassured.life.
What cookies does RestAssured use, and can I change my choice?
Only a small set. Strictly necessary ones keep you signed in and hold your saved answers. Optional ones remember small conveniences and, if you allow analytics, help us see how the site is used (we use Amplitude). Nothing optional runs without your consent.
Your choice is stored in one first-party cookie for 12 months. Change it any time from “Cookie preferences” in the site footer, or in Profile under Account & security. The Cookie Policy has the details.
07
Family and sharing
What is the Trust Network?
The Trust Network is your list of the people who’d step in, such as family, friends or professionals, and what each of them should know.
It comes with Plan and Protect. In an emergency, knowing who to call matters as much as knowing where the documents are.
What do the people I choose actually see?
Nothing, unless you send it to them. Naming someone in your Trust Network records who should step in, and it doesn’t give them access to anything.
When you choose to, you can email a summary of your readiness report to the person who’d need it.
Can I do this with a parent, or for one?
Yes. The questions work just as well asked across a kitchen table.
Take the Findability check together, or sit alongside them through the full assessment. What matters is that the answers are theirs, in their own account.
What is EasyVault?
EasyVault is where you keep the documents your people would need, like your will, insurance and deeds, filed so they’re easy to find and easy to replace as life changes.
Check holds 2 documents, Plan adds your saved report, and Protect holds up to 20. Your files are encrypted, and naming someone in your Trust Network doesn’t give them access.
